Chuck
has worked in industry as a designer and was first involved
with the lost wax process of casting metal in the late fifties
when he worked on components for jet engines. He started painting
in his spare time in the sixties and has worked in oils and
acrylics ever since.
Living
in Loveland and being exposed to some of the best artists
in the nation and their bronze sculptures created a desire
to capture moments in time of God's creatures in bronze.
Studying under these artists at the Loveland Academy of Fine
Arts and drawing
on his engineering expertise, his depth of knowledge of materials
and processes, and his innate artistic ability, Chuck has
created pieces that sensitively capture that "Moment
in Time."
The
beauty of his subjects can be enjoyed forever.
